During this week (Dec 19 ~ Dec 25), we continue the integration test of shagate. We have used the pseudo-random transaction generator to generate thousands of chain-crossing transactions and convert transactions on BCH’s testnet3 to test sha-gate. A floating-point precision bug was found in the BCHN RPC parsing logic, which caused many transactions fail.
In the next week, we’ll fix this bug and rerun the pseudo-random test. If normal case test goes fine and meets no more bugs, we will also try to test exceptional cases by injecting errors to smartbchd and operators. In the exceptional cases the monitor should pause smartbchd/operators.
